Starting of seed germination at Botanic Garden.
From October 2011 to March 2012 seeds of other 10-12 autochthonous nectariferous species (mainly collected in the wild) will be germinated at the Botanic Garden, by a gardner with expertise in seed germnation, under supervision of the Botanic Garden curator. Twenty to twenty-five plants of esch species will be then transplanted in the abandoned pastures near the target area, in order to reinforce the populations of other nectariferous plants by the time when new colonies and nests of pollinators will be introduced.
